The more paintings that I make, the more I remind myself that it is in the process and not the outcome that meaning is found. The gesture of doing it, over and over and over. That one can find meaning in anything if one looks for it. The same painting can be about breakfast, or the lack of rainfall in a year, or the state of politics depending on how you look at it. - Georgia Spain
