Welcome aboard Henry Jock Walker!
He's back! We are pleased to announce that The Egg & Dart Gallery now represents Henry Jock Walker.
Henry Jock Walker is a travelling artist with a base in South Australia and a Toyota Hiace mobile studio. He works with modes of exchange and socially engaged performance in the creation of objects and wall work. His exhibitions challenge the gallery model through subterfuge and meta-commercial means. Walker was a founding co-director of the mobile ARI tarpspace. He has studied at the Art School of South Australia, partly studying abroad in San Diego, California, and completed a BVA honours at the Victorian College of Art, Melbourne. He has a ten-year history of performance and art practice.
In June/July Henry is artist in residence on the Coal Coast preparing for his upcoming exhibition 'Re-Entry Ding Repairs' at The Egg & Dart 6th - 28th July. (Image above courtesy of Sarah Pulling; Bearhunt Photography).

Opening night is 6th July, 6-8pm.
